Everything you need to understand your prescription, measure PD, and upload you RX with confidence.

How to Read Your Prescription

Your prescription contains measurements used to customize your lenses for clear vision.

OD refers to your right eye and OS refers to your left eye.

SPH, CYL, AXIS and ADD help determine the exact lens correction your eyes need.

  • SPH

    Corrects nearsightedness or farsightedness.

  • CYL

    Corrects astigmatism.

  • AXIS

Determines the angle of a astigmatism correction.

  • ADD

    Additional magnification for reading lenses

What is PD?

PD (Pupillary Distance) measures the distance between your pupils in millimeters.

This measurement helps center your lenses correctly for the best vision experience.

You may see:

  • Single PD (example: 63)
  • Dual PD (example: 31.5 / 31.5)

If your prescription does not include PD, contact your eye doctor or use a PD measurement app/tool.

How to Submit Your Prescription

You can submit your prescription in three easy ways:

  1. Enter it manually during checkout
  2. Send it after placing your order
  3. Upload a photo or PDF

Make sure all details are clear and easy to read.

Contacts Lens Prescriptions

contact lens prescriptions are different from glasses prescriptions and may include:

  • Base Curve (BC)

  • Brand name
  • Lens power

A valid prescription lens prescription is required for all contact lens orders.
